Here is an interesting study by McKinsey&Company on the significance of “talent” in corporate growth. In particular, the study shows the necessity of leaders for effective corporate growth. It points that there are only a few that have such skills and competencies. Only 1% of the executives in the sample achieved very high scores of 6 or 7 out of 7 and just another 10% had an above-average score, i.e., 5. Companies where the top teams had excellent scores were also with strong corporate revenue growth. Another finding of this study involves the significance of delivering customer impact, i.e., providing value to the customer.
